One of the favorite methods of getting VDI into organizations is the offering of a free Proof of Concept (POC). Eval licenses and loaner hardware (or existing customer hardware) make it easy to get a POC in, running, and evaluations happening. Partners large and small often times have a difficult time providing a comprehensive, meaningful POC without cost or obligation to the user organization. That way, organizations can make an informed choice and confidently go into a complex VDI solution understanding the components and skillsets needed to enjoy an excellent implementation resulting in happy users, and at the same time, well-managed desktops.
