Experience Counts in VDI Deployments

I recently read a good article by Tim Greene of Network World (read it here: http://www.networkworld.com/news/2012/101812-virtual-desktops-263500.html). In it, Tim points out many of the landmines associated with implementing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. Although a definitely VMware View bias, the article does point out many things to watch out for and can serve as a partial guide.

One of the most important parts of the article points out the need to utilize your vendors–they have done it before and can save significant time and money in your deployment. This is one of the reasons utilizing Project Leadership Associates for VDI solutions has helped implement thousands virtual desktops to a variety of verticals. Some smart people that have done it before.
